Why navigate Wiise for warehouse manager? 

Become familiar with the actions and functions that a warehouse manager can use from their Wiise landing page (role centre).   

How to navigate Wiise for warehouse manager? 

The Wiise landing page (role centre) is a dashboard with actions and activity. These tiles show you real-time information with quick access to data. From here you can navigate Wiise to perform your role as the warehouse manager in the business.   

Your Wiise landing page 

  1. When you log into Wiise you’re taken to your dashboard view. This is the Inventory Manager role so the information on the dashboard is relevant for warehouse managers.

  2. The application bar on the top right-hand corner of the page contains quick access menus for switching company, help, settings, notifications and search.

  3. Select the Search icon to help you search Wiise for what you’re looking for.

  4. Select the Settings icon on the application bar to update your Wiise settings.  
  5. You can:  
    1. Personalise your workspace to suit how you work in Wiise;  
    2. Change the role of your profile through My Settings.
  6. Select My Settings.

    1. Select the horizontal three dots on the Role field to change to another available role.    

    Note: If you require more than an Inventory Manager role, you can select either a Manufacturing Manager role or Service Manager role.  
    1. Select OK when you’re done. You’ll notice your Wiise landing page changes according to the role profile you’ve selected. 

Note: Use the question mark “?” icon on the application bar to seek help, support and troubleshoot Wiise.    

Navigation menus 

  1. On the Wiise landing page, you’ll see actionable menus that are relevant to the inventory manager role.

  2. The first line below the application bar is the navigation menus. Selecting a menu allows you to drill-down to actions within that menu.    
    1. Select Sales & Purchases, then select Purchase Orders.

    2. The purchase orders list displays.

      Note: Each action menu takes you to a page or list where you can add a new row or template by selecting +New or Edit List to make changes, apply filter, and drill-down. In the purchase order list, you can access a purchase order by selecting the hyperlinked purchase order No., that opens the record.  
    3. Navigate back to your purchase order list by selecting the back arrows in Wiise.

      Note: Changes you make in Wiise are automatically saved.    
    4. Navigate back to the Wiise landing page, by selecting the company name on the top left corner of your Wiise page.

  3. Below the navigation menu, are the navigation bars which are green hyperlinks. When you bookmark lists or pages as your favourite, they appear on the navigation bars for easier access.    
    1. Search for Items from the top right-hand corner of the page or select Items on your Wiise landing page.

    2. The Items list displays.

    3. Drill down by selecting the hyperlinked No. against an item record to view additional details.   
    4. Expand the fasttabs or sections of the item card to drill into how the item card has been set up in Wiise.

    5. From the item card, select Related, then select History. Then, select Entries. From the drop-down menu, select Ledger Entries.

    6. A list of the item ledger entries comprising of the movement of purchase, sales or adjustments are documented against the item.

    7. Navigate back to your Wiise landing page anytime by selecting the back arrows and then selecting the company name on the top left menu of any page that you’re on.   
  4. On the Wiise landing page, there are actions and tasks relevant to the inventory manager role. These actions allow you to perform a task quickly.

    1. Select the + button to add a Purchase Order, Phys. Inv. Recording or Inventory Pick. 
    2. Select the > arrow to navigate to the relevant tasks which further drills down to another menu.  
      1. Select Requisition Worksheet and a page displays. You can add a new requisition worksheet template or select Edit List to edit an existing template.

    3. Select the report icon in Actions to access the Warehouse Bin List, Physical Inventory List or Customer Labels relevant to your inventory manager role.  
  5. You now know how to navigate Wiise. These menus are consistent across all the different pages in Wiise.   

Note: You can personalise your dashboard and all pages on Wiise by updating the type of insights and activities you want to view.   

Note: Bookmark you search as favourite to your Wiise landing page to prevent searching for the action you want.    

Note: You can work efficiently in Wiise by using keyboard shortcuts and when you use multiple browser tabs to compare data.
