Set up warehouse employees

  • Learn how to set up warehouse employees in Wiise.  

Why set up warehouse employees? 

A business sets up warehouse employees in Wiise to enable the employees to perform warehouse activities. You need to be set up as a warehouse employee to access the warehoue documents such as picks, put-aways, warehouse shipments and receipts.  

How to set up warehouse employees? 

  1. Search for Warehouse Employees on the top right-hand corner of the page. Select the relevant link.

  2. The Warehouse Employees list displays.

    1. Select New to set up a warehouse employee.  
    2. Select a User ID field. Then from the drop-down menu, select a user to be added as a warehouse employee.  
    3. Select the Location Code field. Then from the drop-down menu, select the location where the warehouse employee will be working.  
    4. Enable the Default check box to identify where the warehouse employee performs their warehouse activities.  

    Note: In the warehouse management system, you can assign new employees to various locations or reassign existing warehouse employees to different locations.

  3. You’ve now set up warehouse employees in Wiise.
