- Install updated PTEs and check updated Wiise integrations
- If bank feeds are enabled, check that the job queues are in a Ready state.
Why complete the post-upgrade steps?
Completing the Wiise 2.0 post-upgrade steps ensures that you have access to the correct Wiise functionality.
How to complete the post-upgrade steps?
Your upgraded sandboxes and production environments will require the following tasks to be completed after they have been migrated to Wiise 2.0.
1. Enable Allow HTTP Client Requests within Wiise Extensions
- Search for Extension Management on the top right-hand corner of the page and select the related link. The page displays.
- Search for the Wiise installed extensions. Open the Wiise, Wiise Australia, and Wiise Warehouse OnTime extensions.
Note: If you do not have Wiise Warehouse OnTime enabled for your business, you’ll only see the Wiise and Wiise Australia extensions. - On the extension, enable the Allow HttpClient Requests field. Repeat this step for the other Wiise extensions.

2. Register Wiise
When you’ve updated your Wiise extensions, you’ll need to register Wiise.
- Search for Wiise Azure Setup on the top right-hand corner of the page and select the related link. The page displays.
- Select Actions. Then, select Register Wiise.
Note: When you Register Wiise, the function app key to the Wiise integration services regenerates so you can access Wiise services and set Wiise permissions.
3. Share the new URL and delete all remaining Wiise application family environments
Note: Now that you’ve migrated your production environment to Wiise 2.0, which is on the Business Central application family, update all bookmarks to use the new URL starting with https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/{yourtenantID}
instead of the old one https://wiise.bc.dynamics.com/{yourtenantID}
.
- Inform all staff to use the new URL moving forward, and remove any unneeded Wiise environments from the Dynamics 365 Business Central Admin Center to prevent redirection to the old URL.
- Ensure everyone updates their bookmarks accordingly.
4. Check all integration and PTEs
- Install any updated PTEs.
- Check all PTEs and integrations to be in working order including applications installed from the the Microsoft AppSource.
- If you're enabled for bank feeds, please check to make sure the job queues are in a ready state.
Note: You can now schedule your upgrades aligned with the Business Central release cadence. You can set up to receive notifications for your environments from the admin centre.
