Overview:
- Learn how to enable item tracking for OnTime.
Why enable item tracking for OnTime?
Item tracking lets you monitor items as they move through the warehouse in real-time with OnTime.
This allows your warehouse team to view purchase forecasts, get real-time inventory updates, and track where items are stored and where they’re moving. You can monitor items by serial, lot, or package numbers for better control and visibility of your stock.
Note: You can create and customise tracking codes to fit your warehouse’s specific needs. Once your tracking codes are configured, enable tracking for each item by assigning the appropriate codes on the item card. These codes will determine whether the item is tracked by serial number, lot, or package, ensuring better control and visibility of your inventory.
