Why manage warehouse tasks?
Managing warehouse tasks helps streamline operations, ensuring that all tasks are tracked, assigned, and completed efficiently.
Note: You can view and manage warehouse tasks from the Wiise Warehouse OnTime Tasks on your Wiise ERP Desktop.
How to manage warehouse tasks?
- Search for Wiise Warehouse OnTime Tasks from the top right-hand corner of the page. Select the related link and the page displays.
- The Wiise Warehouse OnTime Tasks displays all New, In Progress, Error, Complete and Unassigned tasks status.
- The following information is displayed on the page:
- Task: The type of task or document that has been created.
- Document No.: The unique identification number assigned to the task or document.
- Location: The designated location where the task will be carried out.
- Status: The current progress or state of the task.
- Progress: Movement of warehouse items for the task.
- User: The full name of the user assigned to the task.
- Created: The date and time when the task was created.
- Assigned: The date and time when the task was assigned to a user.
- Completed: The date and time when the task was marked as completed.
How to unassign a team member from a task in Wiise ERP Desktop?
When a warehouse worker selects a task in Wiise Warehouse OnTime, it is automatically assigned to them. If they select a task by mistake or cannot complete it, they must unassign the task so another team member can take it.
As a warehouse supervisor, you can perform the task on behalf of your warehouse employee from theWiise ERP Desktop.
Note: A warehouse worker can assign or unassign themselves from tasks in OnTime.
- Select and highlight the row containing the tasks that you want to unassign. Then, select Unassign from the action bar.
- A warning message displays that unassigning may cause loss of work if the user has not saved the task.
- Select Yes to continue or select No to cancel the action.
Note: The unassigned task will now be available for another user to assign to themselves within the OnTime app.
- Select Yes to continue or select No to cancel the action.
