      Use the Copy Document Feature for Sales Orders 

      Overview: 

      • Learn how to use the Copy Document feature to save time when creating sales orders. 

      Why use the Copy Document feature? 

      The Copy Document feature allows you to reuse details from an existing sales order, quote, or invoice. It’s especially useful when you need to create a new sales order based on a previous one without re-entering all the information. 

      How to use the Copy Document feature? 

      1. Search for Sales Orders using the search bar in the top right-hand corner of the page. Select the related link to open the list of sales orders. 
      2. Set up a new sales order or open an existing sales order. 

        Note: The sales order must be in Open status to use the Copy Document function. 
      3. On the sales order, select the Actions menu. Then, select Functions. Select Other. From the drop-down menu, select Copy Document.

      4. The Copy Sales Document request page displays.

      5. Fill in the required fields in the Options section: 
        1. Document Type: Specify the type of document you are copying from, such as an Order or Invoice.

        2. Document No: Enter the sales order, quote, or invoice number you wish to copy from. 
        3. Include Header: Enable if you want to copy the header details (such as customer information). 
        4. Recalculate Lines: Enable if you want to update prices and discounts based on current settings. 
        5. Select OK to copy the document. 

        Note: Wiise will copy the selected document details, including line items, into your new or existing sales order in the Lines section.  

      6. Review and verify the copied details. You may be required to update any fields like Posting Date, Delivery Date, or any specific line information as needed. 
      7. Update the sales order to Released status to finalise the sales order. 
      8. Select Post to post the sales order or complete the sales order based on your warehouse process. 
      9. You’ve used the Copy Document feature to create a new sales order.
