Note: Before assigning dimensions, ensure that you've synced Wiise ERP dimensions to Wiise Payroll and set them up in Wiise Payroll.
Why Assign Dimensions to Employees in Wiise Payroll?
Assigning dimensions helps group payroll costs by team, project, or location. You can then report on payroll and reconcile with your accounts in Wiise ERP.
Note: Dimensions available in Wiise Payroll can be synced from Wiise ERP to Wiise Payroll.
How to Assign Dimensions to Employees in Wiise Payroll?
- Go to the employee’s profile in Wiise Payroll.
- Then, select Pay Run Defaults in Pay Run Settings on the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down to the Primary Dimensions section.
- Add the relevant dimensions in the Primary Dimensions field:
Note: Make sure all required dimensions are set in the employee’s pay run details. When payroll journals are imported into Wiise ERP, the selected dimensions will be included in the General Journal batch. - You've assigned dimensions to employees in Wiise Payroll
