      Access and Use Power BI Dashboards in Wiise 

      Overview 

      • Learn to update a Power BI Dashboard on your Wiise Landing Page

      Why use Power BI Dashboards in Wiise? 

      You can access and use your most important Power BI dashboards in one place, directly from your Wiise Landing Page to help you save time and make faster, data-driven decisions.  

      Before you Begin: 

      • Make sure that Wiise Dashboards are installed in Power BI. 
      • When Wiise Dashboards are installed, you’ll need to configure the Wiise dashboard links to appear in Wiise Dashboard Favourites allowing users to access the Power BI reports directly in Wiise.  

      How to configure the links in Wiise Dashboard Favourites? 

      1. Search Wiise Dashboards on the top right-hand corner of the page. Select the related link and the page displays.

      2. Select a Dashboard link on the Dashboard column. 
      3. When the Dashboard link is configured to a Power BI report, the linked Power BI report displays.  
      4. When the link is not configured yet, the Wiise Dashboard Assisted Setup wizard displays.

      5. Select Next to proceed.  
      6. Select the horizontal three dots on the right size of the relevant fields, where a Wiise Dashboard is not linked. 

        Note: You may need to review the links to make sure that the correct Wiise Dashboards are linked.

      7. The Select Power BI Workspace displays.

      8. Select the relevant Wiise Dashboard. Then, select OK to continue.  
      9. The Select Power BI Report page displays. Select an appropriate report, then, select OK.

      10. The Wiise Dashboard Assisted Setup displays with all the configured links.

      11.  Select Next to continue.  
      12. The final page displays. Confirm the Connection details and select Finish.

      Note: You can now access your Wiise Dashboards directly in Wiise. 

      How to access and use Power BI Dashboards in Wiise? 

      1. Log in to Wiise. 
      2. Scroll down your Wiise Landing Page until your get to the Insights panel.

      Note: View the Power BI dashboards on the left and your Wiise Dashboard Favourites on the right. Personalise your page to change this view. 

      Note: Create or update your Power BI report in Power BI Desktop, then view it in Power BI Insights in Wiise. Administrators or report creators can build and share custom Power BI reports for others, while users can view the shared reports in Wiise. Since only one report view is available at a time, switch between any reports that are shared with you.  

      How to access and use Wiise Dashboard Favourites on your Wiise Landing Page? 

      1. Search for Wiise Dashboards on the top right-hand corner of the page. Select the related link and the page displays.

      2. View the list of available Wiise Dashboards that you can view from Power BI directly in Wiise.  
      3. Select Edit List to update the checkboxes in the Favourite in my role centre column.  
      4. Wiise Dashboards with checkboxes ticked in the Favourite in my role centre column displays on your Wiise Landing page.
