      Use OnTime to complete a stocktake 1.4

       

       

      Overview:

      • Learn how to use OnTime to complete a stocktake. 

      Why use OnTime to complete a stocktake? 

      With OnTime, you can simplify stocktaking by using your mobile devices to do the stocktake function, which avoids paper sheets and reduces mistakes. 

      How to set up a stocktake in Wiise ERP desktop? 

      1. Complete steps 1 to 5 to set up a physical order recording on Wiise ERP desktop. 

        Note: We are using a location that has been enabled for Require Receive, Require Shipment, Require Put-away, Require Pick, and Bin Mandatory.  
      2. Select Home. Then, select New Device Recording.  

      Note: This action creates the Stocktake process in the To-do list on the OnTime app. Warehouse bins are separated which allows a different warehouse worker to perform the stocktake count. The total number of tasks that appear in the Stocktake task match back to Wiise ERP desktop.

        How to use OnTime to complete a stocktake?  

      1. Select Stocktake on the Functions tab.

        Note: You can find the Stocktake task in the Home and Functions tab.   
      2. Select the related task based on the description.

        Note: The related task indicates how many recording bins there are to complete the stocktake. Each recording enables different warehouse workers to complete stocktake counts.

      3. Select a bin to complete the stocktake.

        Note: When you select a bin to perform your stocktake count, your initials are assigned to the task.  
      4. Count the items in the bin and update the number by selecting the + or – buttons to increase or decrease the count or tap the screen to enter the total count.
        1. Select Confirm when you’ve completed your stocktake count.

        Note: The completed task disappears from your To do list.  

        Note: You can unassign yourself from the stocktake task, which then is made visible to all warehouse workers. Someone else can take over from you to complete the stocktake on the OnTime app.  
      5. When you’ve completed the stocktake count for all bins, they appear in the Completed list and are updated in green.

        1. Select Save to update Wiise ERP desktop.
      6. A message displays that saving the physical inventory recording task was a success. Select OK to continue.
      7. You’ve completed the stocktake process on the OnTime app.

      Note: When the warehouse worker completes the stocktake process on OnTime, the physical inventory order in the Wiise ERP desktop is updated as a Finished status.
