Why Set Up an NDIS PRODA Connection?

To protect sensitive data and meet security standards, the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) requires all registered NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Providers to connect securely through PRODA (Provider Digital Access). PRODA ensures only authorised users and systems can access NDIS systems, like the Product Catalogue.

Note: PRODA Device Activation means registering a digital device in the PRODA portal to securely access NDIS services on behalf of your organisation.

Note: NDIS PRODA Connection Setup in Wiise provides a step-by-step wizard to guide you through:

  • Setting up your organisation on PRODA
  • Registering a device
  • Activating that device to access the NDIS Product Catalogue through Wiise

Before You Begin

Ensure the following:

  • You have access to PRODA to complete the setup.

Note: If you didn’t set up the PRODA account, you can’t manage devices or connect services to Wiise until the right access is granted. Ask the person who registered the organisation in PRODA (the creator or director listed in the Australian Business Register) to log in and assign you the following roles:

  • Device Management: lets you register and activate a PRODA device.
  • Service Link Management: allows you to link your organisation to Wiise.
  • You’ll need to register a device in PRODA to link to Wiise. Once you’ve registered a device, you’ll receive a Device Activation Code, Device Name, and PRODA RA (Organisation) number on the PRODA screen that you’ll need to copy to your clipboard.

Note: The Device Activation Code appears only once on-screen after you register the device in PRODA. You won’t receive it by email, so make sure to copy it right away. You’ll need it later to complete the NDIS PRODA connection setup in Wiise.

Note: The activation code is valid for 7 days from registration.
