Why do you manage pay slip settings?

Managing pay slip settings makes sure employees get correct and clear information about their pay, deductions, and benefits.

Note: This feature lets you customise the pay slips your employees receive.

How to manage pay slip settings?

1

  1. Select Payroll Settings on your Wiise Payroll dashboard. Then in the Business Settings section, select Pay Slips.

Note: You can add your company logo to pay slips by selecting "choose a logo," uploading a file, and confirming. The image should be in .gif, .jpg, or .png format, with recommended dimensions no larger than 150px by 350px. Once added, you can change or remove the logo as needed.
  2. In Section Visibility, select the relevant checkboxes to customise which details show on pay slips, such as job title, pay categories, base pay rate, leave accruals, employee ID, and more. You can require employees to log in to access their pay slips.
    1. Show job title / classification: displays the employee's job title.
    2. Alphabetise pay categories: lists pay categories in alphabetical order.
    3. Show base pay rate: shows the employee's hourly base rate.
    4. Show hourly rate for annual earnings: displays both hourly and annual rates for employees with an annual salary.
    5. Show leave accruals: shows or hides leave balances.
    6. Show employee ID: shows or hides the payroll system's auto-generated employee ID.
    7. Show employee external ID: shows or hides a manually assigned employee ID.
    8. Show line notes: shows or hides details from timesheets, such as date and work hours.
    9. Show location in line notes: includes or hides location details from timesheets.
    10. Employees must log in to download pay slips: if enabled, employees must log in to access their pay slips through the portal. Use this only if all employees have portal access.
    11. Super guarantee processing frequency: Select the drop-down menu and select the one of the following options that determines how often super contributions are displayed on the pay slip:
