  5. You’ll need to check the existence of your Power BI license for Wiise. Select Go to Power BI home page to get a license.
  6. If you already have a Power BI license, select Next to begin the set-up process.

Note: With Wiise, users who have been assigned a Business Central license receive a free Power BI license that offers the basic features available in both Wiise and Power BI. Upon signing up the user is set up on Power BI Pro for a free 60-day trial status. Additionally, you can purchase a Power BI Pro license for extra features.

Note: The main difference between Power BI Free and Power BI Pro is that Pro users can create and share dashboards with their teams. With Power BI Pro, you can publish content to app workspaces, share dashboards with other Power BI users, and subscribe to dashboards and reports for regular updates.

Note: When you sign in, simply verify that your Business Central and Power BI licenses are active. If you're recognised as a Business Central licensed user, you'll automatically receive a free Microsoft Fabric license. This lets you log into Power BI and start creating and exploring reports.

Note: Microsoft Fabric is an all-in-one analytics platform that uses a subscription model with tiered plans, usage-based billing, and options for integration with other Microsoft services. Power BI, on the other hand, comes in Free, Pro, and Premium versions to suit individuals, small teams, or large enterprises. When using both together, it's essential to understand the licensing requirements for each, as they can impact data processing in Fabric and how it is visualized and shared in Power BI
  8. Go back to Wiise to complete the set-up process wizard. Select Next and a demo report will be uploaded in Power BI. This takes a few minutes to load.
