Setting up Bank Feeds

Q5: What do I need to know before setting up bank feeds?

A5: To set up bank feed in Wiise, you'll need to check the following:

    1. That you are an authorised user of the your business banking account with the relevant delegated authority;
    2. That you have authorised the sharing of open banking transaction data via your bank. This is often done via your online banking portal;
    3. That you have the correct permissions in Wiise to enable bank feeds and set up a new bank account feed.

Q6: What if I can’t login into my bank using the wizard?

A6: Each bank has different websites for different banking products, so you'll need to check that you have selected the right product by checking the website of the bank.

    1. Go to the URL in the top navigation bar in Yodlee and check the website address.

    2. Go to your bank login page and check the address URL in the top navigation.

    3. Compare the website address URLs. If they're different, then you have either selected the wrong banking product in the wizard or may need to link your bank account to the website used for sharing data via Yodlee.

Note: For example, Yodlee connects with Open Banking data using the Netbank website URL so if you're only accessing your business banking account via Commbiz you'll need to register that account with Netbank.

Q7: What is the frequency of receiving bank feeds?

A7: The frequency can be set on your linked bank accounts page. You'll receive bank feeds daily.

Q8: Can I set a date from which I want historical transactions imported when I first enable bank feeds?

A8: When manually importing feeds after adding the bank account, select the start and end date for the manual import.

Q9: When searching to add banks using the Yodlee wizard, is any bank with the words “personal” in them supported for Business banking?

A9: Personal would indicate personal banking accounts that are not related to the business.

Q10: I can't find my bank account in the list of banks.

A10: Use the search bar in your Wiise Bank Feeds panel on your Wiise landing page to search for your bank account. All major banks in Australia are supported by Yodlee.
