Renumber document number in item journals
Overview:
- Learn how to renumber document number in item journals.
Note: On the Item Journals page, you can edit the Document No. field to set different document numbers or the same number for each line. If a number series is specified in the No. Series field, the document numbers must be sequential when posting. If they aren't, you won't be able to post the journal.
To fix this, use the Renumber Document Numbers action before posting. This will group related lines but may change their document number.
