Timesheets with Dimensions
Wiise Timesheet and Payroll Integration with Dimensions enables seamless, native integration between Wiise (Business Central) and KeyPay for payroll processing, with full support for dimensions. This means payroll data—including cost centers, departments, projects, and other dimensions—can be synchronized and mapped directly between Business Central and KeyPay, ensuring accurate allocation of payroll expenses and improved financial reporting.
Key Capabilities
- Native Dimension Integration: Pushes all dimensions and their values from Business Central to KeyPay using KeyPay’s dimension API. Supports all global and shortcut dimensions
- Automatic and Manual Sync: When payroll data is processed in KeyPay, it syncs to Business Central with all relevant dimensions. Users can also manually refresh dimension values in KeyPay from Business Central
- Default Handling: If a payroll record from KeyPay lacks dimension data, a default dimension is applied as per Business Central’s configuration.
ABN Lookup Feature
The ABN Lookup feature—designed to help accountants and finance professionals validate Australian Business Numbers (ABNs) directly within the system. This enhancement ensures that customer and vendor records are accurate, compliant, and up-to-date.
Key Capabilities
Automatic ABN Validation
When entering an ABN in a customer or vendor card, the system now automatically calls the ABN Lookup service to verify the number.
Real-Time Data Population
Upon successful validation, the following fields are auto-populated and displayed as read-only:
- Entity Name
- ABN Status
- Entity Type
- GST Status
- Main Business Location
Error Handling & Alternative Search
If an invalid ABN is entered:
An error message is displayed: “ABN is not valid. Do you want to search by name?”
Users can choose to search by name, which opens the official ABN Lookup webpage with the customer/vendor name pre-filled.
