New Features & Enhancements

Wiise Warehouse OnTime now supports advanced inventory management documents including Warehouse Receipt, Warehouse Putaway and Warehouse Picks.


In line with recent updates to Dynamics 365 Business Central, both inventory documents and warehouse documents are available in OnTime in the same location. Find more information here and here about the latest Microsoft updates to these modules.

  1. Warehouse Receipt

    • Users can now process warehouse receipts directly within the mobile app.
    • Seamless synchronization with Microsoft Business Central ensures real-time inventory updates.
    • Benefits: Streamlines the receiving process by allowing users to record incoming shipments directly within the mobile app. Real-time updates to Microsoft Business Central ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date, reducing discrepancies and enhancing inventory visibility.
  2. Warehouse Put Away

    • Users can now use enhanced functionality to manage and record Warehouse Put Aways in OnTime.
    • Integration with Wiise allows for efficient space utilisation and accurate inventory tracking.
    • Benefit: Improves warehouse organisation and space utilisation by guiding users through the put away process. Integration with Wiise ERP ensures that all movements are tracked and recorded, leading to better inventory accuracy and reduced handling times.
  3. Warehouse Pick

    • Streamlined picking processes with the ability to confirm Warehouse Picks directly from the app via production orders, assembly orders and projects.
    • Real-time updates to Wiise ERP to reduce errors and improve order fulfilment speed.
    • Benefit: Enhances order fulfilment efficiency by enabling users to pick items directly from the mobile app. Real-time synchronization with Business Central minimizes errors, ensures that the right items are picked for orders, and speeds up the fulfilment process.
  4. Assemble to Order

    • New feature to handle the assemble to order and movement of items in the warehouse.
    • Ensures accurate tracking of assembled products and their components within Wiise ERP.
    • Benefit: Facilitates the assembly of products by tracking the movement and combination of components. This feature ensures that assembled items are accurately recorded in Wiise ERP, improving traceability and inventory management.
  5. Production:

    • Users can now manage production picks and put aways (both inventory and warehouse).
    • Production orders from Wiise ERP are now synchronized in real-time with the warehouse mobile app, ensuring up-to-date information and efficient workflow management.
    • Benefit: Improving the efficiency of order processing and inventory management, leads to faster fulfilment times and increased customer satisfaction. 
  6. Permissions Updates

    • Streamlined and consistent user interface aligned to OnTime permissions and roles.
    • Improved security with role-based access control.
    • Benefit: Enhances security and compliance by allowing administrators to set and manage user permissions. Role-based access control ensures that only authorised personnel can access specific tasks like adjustments, reducing the risk of unauthorised access and actions.
  1. Barcode and Bin Label Reports

    • Generate and print barcode reports for inventory items.

    • Benefit: Improves inventory management by allowing users to generate and print barcode reports for items and bin labels. This feature supports multiple barcode formats, making it easier to label and track inventory, reduce manual errors, and speed up the scanning process.
  2. Bin Lookup

    • Quick and easy bin lookup functionality.
    • Allows users to find the location of items within the warehouse efficiently.
    • Benefit: Increases operational efficiency by providing quick and easy access to bin locations within the warehouse. Users can quickly locate items, reducing search times and helping maintain accurate stock control.
  3. Item Lookup

    • Enhanced item lookup features for quick access to product information.
    • Supports searching by item number, description, and other attributes.
    • Benefit: Enhances product information accessibility by allowing users to search for items using various attributes such as item number, description, and more. This feature helps in quick decision-making and ensures that accurate information is readily available.
  4. Recording Carrier Cut-off Times

    • New feature to record and manage carrier cutoff times for shipments in Wiise ERP desktop.
    • Benefit: Improves shipment planning and coordination by allowing users to record and manage carrier cutoff times. This ensures that shipments are dispatched on time, reducing delays and improving customer satisfaction.

    • Ability to save tasks and unassign them as needed.
    • Save progress on tasks as you work.
    • Enables efficient handling of warehouse activities across multiple warehouse workers.
    • Provides flexibility in task management and reassignment within the warehouse.
    • Benefit: Provides flexibility in task management by allowing users to save tasks and unassign them when necessary. This feature helps in better workload distribution and ensures that tasks can be reassigned efficiently, improving overall workflow management.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements

The following bugs have now been resolved.

Item Status
Inventory Pick Pick allowed more than the maximum quantity when using decimals. Now limited to maximum quantity.
Inventory Pick Picks with multiple items: users were redirected to the pick list instead of the item list. On completion of pick, users are returned to item list.
Inventory Ship When multiple users in multiple locations handle a multiple item ship, and one user unassigns then then ship could not be posted. Now resolved.
Inventory Put Away Item status incorrect. Resolved.
Search Previously entered search terms remain in search field on return. Filed is now cleared on return.
Item tracking Warranty and expiration date fields would previously accept any value. Only dates now accepted.
Item tracking For negative adjustments, the item tracking field will now be cleared.
Inventory Receive When expected date is blank on the purchase order then 1 January 0001 was displayed in OnTime. OnTime now shows a blank value.
Inventory Put Away After using the split function, the item moved to the completed tab without tracking details entered. Now remaining quantity shows in the 'To do' section when tracking details are required. 
UI  User interface enhancements and fixes.

Update Instructions

To update to the latest version of Wiise Warehouse OnTime, ensure that the Wiise Warehouse OnTime extension has been updated in your Wiise environment and visit the Apple or Google app store and follow the standard update procedure. Ensure that your device is connected to the internet and has sufficient battery life before starting the update process.

Supported Versions

This version of OnTime is available to customers using Wiise Australia 2.0 and Wiise New Zealand, and is not available to customer who are using Wiise Australia 1.0. Those customers may choose not to update the OnTime app in the Apple or Google app stores and remain using 1.3.
