New Features
Wiise Compatibility with Multi-Entity Management for Microsoft Dynamics
Wiise has partnered with Binary Stream to release a version of Wiise with a subset of features that are compatible with their solution Multi-Entity Management for Microsoft Dynamics (MEM).
Multi-Entity Relationship is a product natively integrated to Business Central to allow entities within Wiise to be managed using global dimensions from a single entity. This allows for streamlined management of multiple companies that share common setup like reporting, customer documents, Chart of Accounts and other features.
We encourage customers to learn more about this product from Binary Stream’s website and learn more about its capabilities. https://binarystream.com/products/D365BC-MEM/
Wiise Reporting
The following Wiise reports have been refactored to be compatible with the MEM product allowing filtering and by global dimension as well as restricting user access to entities they have not been granted access to. Note that this does not impact existing Wiise customers who do not have MEM installed.

New Wiise MEM Helper App
Wiise is releasing a new app to enable specified Wiise features to work with the Multi-Entity Management (MEM) solution from Binary Stream. The purpose of this app is to ensure the Wiise Banking, Payroll and Reporting features are compatible with MEM. The app also ensures that the Wiise reporting suite adheres to the security model that MEM employs to make sure customer reporting data remains protected.
Note: This app is available for both Wiise Australia 2.0 and Wiise New Zealand customers on partner request. Please note: As this app limits Wiise functionality to Wiise features compatible with Wiise, it should not be installed into environments not using MEM.
Considerations for Installing MEM
-
Installing Multi-Entity Management for Microsoft Dynamics requires considerable configuration of your Wiise environment. Please contact your implementation partner to assess this scope of work.
- MEM must be installed in Business Central environments before installing the Wiise extension.
- The Wiise Company Setup wizard cannot be run in Wiise tenants that MEM installed.
