Feature enhancements

Bank feed upgrade

We've updated our bank feed APIs. You'll now be able to set up reconciliation frequency to suit the way you work: Automatic Daily, Automatic Single or Manual.

Option to list only open transactions on Customer Statement report

We've added a new Statement Style field to the existing standard customer statement report. This field has a Balance option, which will print balance transactions as in the standard version of this report. And it has a new Open Item option, which will let you print only open transactions on this report. You'll also be able to email the statements from this report.

Option to calculate month-end leave accruals

You can now calculate month-end leave accruals for any pay run which doesn't end on the last date of the month.  The system will calculate the accruals for the number of remaining days until the end of the month. It will create accruals as recurring journals which you'll need to post manually. You can find this function by selecting Payroll in the menu, and then selecting Pay Runs.

Wiise Timesheet duplication check

When a Wiise timesheet is submitted by an employee or approved by a  manager, Wiise will check it against Wiise Payroll for duplications, based on the timesheet date. If it finds a duplication, you'll get a message, and you can decide whether or not to proceed with the duplication.

Wiise Timesheets for non-payroll resources

You can now create Wiise Timesheets for a direct internal resource, without having to link the resource to a Wiise Payroll employee. You could use this to submit timesheets for any machinery or equipment being used on a job; or other resources that don't exist as employees in Wiise Payroll. The time will only be recorded in Wiise and won't be sent to Wiise Payroll. This allows you to track resource cost per job, even if the resource isn't an employee. And gives you more accurate job cost reporting.

Wiise Timesheets for employees on a fixed contract

If you have an employee such as a fixed-contractor who doesn't need to enter Wiise Payroll timesheets, you can now capture the time in Wiise. When the employee submits a Wiise Timesheet, it will be posted to the job module but won't be sent to Wiise Payroll. This gives you improved ability to track resource cost and time per job. And gives you more accurate job cost reporting.

Ability to add Custom Reports

You can now add custom reports such as account schedules to the Reports menu (on the Business Manager and Accountant role centres). Only account schedule reports are supported at the moment. You can also add custom reports to your Favourite Reports, which are unique to you. When you run the account schedule report Wiise will show you an overview page — you can then print or export the report to Excel from there.

Resolution of reported bugs

Postcodes inconsistency

Some AU postcodes were appearing as 3 digits when they should be 4 digits. The leading ‘0’ was missing. For example, Northern territory is ‘0800’ and not ‘800’.  And some suburb names were lower case instead of upper case and some postcodes were missing.  These issues have been resolved.

Timesheet resource deletion

When the resource is deleted for an existing Timesheet, the system will show an error message and the Wiise Timesheet page will no longer crash.

Wiise Timesheets employment date validation

When a timesheet is submitted or approved with a timesheet date before the employment start date, the system will show a user-friendly error message. You'll need to fix the error before you can send the timesheet to Wiise Payroll.

Section titles missing on Job Statistics card

The missing title/captions of each section in Job Statistics have been added.

Query 102 Item Sales by Customer incorrect

This query wasn't reconciling to Customer/Item Sales Reports because the credit notes were missing. They're now included.

Missing Cross-Reference No. in Sales Invoice and Sales Shipment XML Mapping

This field is now available in the mapping selection.

Create Payment function from vendor ledger entries

This function now correctly creates the payment journal as a payment and not a refund.

Post and Print in Inventory Pick

This function now correctly prints the report 16034410 (Wiise Sales Shipment AU).

Platform upgrade

No change as the existing v15.4 BC platform is used in this release.

Per tenant extensions

Remember to uninstall any Per Tenant Extensions (PTE) you’ve developed and installed in your sandbox environment if they were published directly via VS code. Any PTEs that are installed in your sandbox will be removed during the upgrade process.
