How to add attachments and notes to cards and documents
Sometimes you might need to add extra information to a card or document in Wiise that doesn't go in any of the fields. Such as if you'd like to store a vendor's invoice as a PDF with the related purchase invoice, communicate special instructions to other people accessing the document or card, or add a link to a supplier's online catalogue to their record.
You can attach any type of note, link or a file containing text, image, or video, to a card or document in Wiise. So Wiise becomes your filing cabinet and you don't have to search for extra bits of information to help you complete your daily tasks.
How to manage attachments
You can manage these attachments in the FactBox in a card or document. Just select the information 'i' in the top right corner of the card or document.
- The Attachments section in the FactBox shows you how many attached files, links, or notes there are for the card or document. Select the number (0, 1, 2 etc.) to add a new attachment.
- Or to add a new note, select + in the Notes section.
Attachments, links, and notes stay attached to the card or document as it’s processed, such as when it goes from an ongoing sales order to a posted sales invoice.
When you partially ship and invoice a sales order or purchase order, you'll only see the attachment on the final invoice of that order.
